Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnomesword

GNOME gnomesword 2.2.3 crashes sometimes on clicking on words in the text:

(gnomesword2:4585): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_convert: assertion `str != NULL' failed
Segmentation fault

I'm using Ubuntu 9.04 with the latest updates.

Gnomesword is no longer developed. It has been renamed into Xiphos see xiphos.org

Crosswire packaging team is working on updating Sword, Xiphos, Bibletime and Bibledit in Debian and Karmic. You can try our packages from the PPA https://edge.launchpad.net/~pkgcrosswire/+archive/ppa

We have Hardy - Jaunty there.

Cannot reproduce with latest Xiphos release on Ubuntu karmic.
