Bug Description

The f-spot entry in the GNOME Applications menu has no functional description as recommended in the GNOME HIG 2.0:

http://developer.gnome.org/projects/gup/hig/2.0/desktop-integration.html#menu-item-names

The tooltip for the menu item is 'Photo Management', which doesn't follow the HIG's recommendations either. This is a usability issue, as users rely on descriptive names to find the correct application for a task.

I recommend:

Item Name 'F-Spot' -> 'F-Spot Photo Manager'
Item Tooltip 'Photo Management' -> 'View and organise photos'

Changed in f-spot:
assignee: nobody → mono

This was fixed in 0.1.5 which eventually made its way into dapper.
