Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubuntu-dev-tools

In jaunty (ubuntu-dev-tools 0.72), pbuilder-dist no long adds the --aptconfdir pbuilder argument. This was a nice feature with previous versions of pbuilder-dist. You were able to edit ~/pbuilder/etc/hardy/apt.conf/sources.list to add distribution specific repositories.

I see that this was lost when pbuilder-dist changed from a sh script to a python script. Could this be added back to pbuilder-dist? A simple fix is to apply the attached patch. But this does not address creating new apt.conf directories for new distributions, like the old pbuilder-dist used to do.

Is this a bug, or is there a new and improved way of doing things that I am not seeing?

I have attached an improved diff which only adds the argument if that directory exists.

I've commited the patch - thanks!

(By the way, for those not aware of it, you can add any argument at the end of a pbuilder-dist call and it will be passed to pbuilder/cowbuilder).
