If a package is 'wget'ting a file from the Internet, a download status bar should show

Bug Description

Because of legal reasons, things like the extras project are using nominal packages which then wget the package from a site on the internet.

Wget shows a percentage of completion of the download, but the title of the window reads 'installing packages'. My suggestion is that when this occurs, the title and status bars should read downloading and the status should be tied to the wget downloading completion.

Will this feature be anytime implemented ?
Should we reject or confirm that bug ?

I'm sorry, but I need to reject the bug. The real solution is either a policy decsision for this or using debconf in some clever way to support progress reporting there. Its not really something that synaptic can and should solve.
