Bug Description

Binary package hint: xubuntu-artwork-usplash

20090413 netboot install:

Still uses the older style of usplash rather than the newer thin one.

I feel this should be updated to continue some of the look of the other desktop range of the *buntu family

Thanks for reporting this bug and any supporting documentation. Since this bug has enough information provided for a developer to begin work, I'm going to mark it as confirmed and let them handle it from here.

This may be too late for Jaunty, but perhaps it can be done for Karmic.

Thanks for taking the time to make Ubuntu better!

This bug was fixed in the package xubuntu-artwork - 0.34

---------------
xubuntu-artwork (0.34) karmic; urgency=low

  * usr/share/icons/elementaryXubuntu: new icon theme, inspired of elementary.
  * debian/control: xubuntu-artwork depends on gnome-icon-theme instead of
    gnome-brave-icon-theme.
  * debian/xubuntu-artwork.install: ship elementaryXubuntu.
  * debian/copyright: refreshed.
  * Merge changes with usplash-theme-ubuntu, with a new logo. LP: #360499
  * usr/share/themes/Albatross/gtk-2.0/gtkrc: add theming for the application
    switcher. LP: #360175
  * usr/share/xfce4/backdrops/xubuntu-karmic*.png: add new wallpapers.
