Hi!!!

I still have the same problem after downloading from PPA. Just installed definitive Jaunty and downloaded wammu from PPA.

Best regards.

Adding a clue :D

If I install wammu from mainstream it works since it brings down some older version of gammu and wammu. If the same is done from PPA wammu release is the last, but gammu is not.

In Michal's PPA repository the gammu-1.24.0-1.jaunty~ppa.1 has not been built correctly: I see the "X" mark on the build status columns.

Same problem here, wammu from PPA still throws that error message. Jaunty-amd46

Jaunty x86_64, Wammu from PPA don't start with the same error. Will it be fixed soon or I should install Wammu and Gammu from official repos?

I also got this bug and it doesn't matter whether its from the official Ubuntu Jaunty repo or nijels PPA.

Okay, I have no clue what Ubuntu has different in packaging Python modules. If somebody can point me to documentation of the difference when compared to Debian, it should be easy to fix.

Okay, I hopefully submitted fixed packages. But the estimated build start is now 16 hours :-(.
