Bug Description

Binary package hint: mnemosyne

The icon for mnemosyne is missing in jaunty. It doesn't show up in the main menu or in my dock (GNOME-do docky), but for some reason it shows up in the running program. See attached screenshot.

Description: Ubuntu jaunty (development branch)
Release: 9.04

mnemosyne:
  Installed: 1.2-0ubuntu1
  Candidate: 1.2-0ubuntu1
  Version table:

On Karmic:

$ file /usr/share/icons/mnemosyne.png
/usr/share/icons/mnemosyne.png: data

Apparently the file is there, but it got corrupted by a DOS-to-UNIX line ending conversion.

I can confirm that this is the culprit in Jaunty as well. I fixed it by replacing the icon, but this is just a workaround.

Hi Bhavani,

could you please provide a Debian to ubuntu debdiff? This would make easier the review.

Thanks,
Fabrice
