Bug Description

Ubuntu Hardy just updated to kernel version 2.6.24-24 and this makes virtualbox unusable since the virtualbox-ose-modules are not available for that kernel version.

A workaround is to build the ose-modules manually and install it. Here is the guide for doing the same.

Another thing -- I tried building the kernel modules from source as given in the link and it succeeds.
So this is not a bug report for the ose-module build failing.

Right, that's for hardy-proposed. Does it work for you?

Martin,
Yes, it works like a charm. I have even used Jaunty Beta using the new virtualbox-ose-modules. That was the reason I thought it should be changed to "Fix Released"

Thanks for testing. This will go into hardy-updates when the -24 kernel will.
