AIM buddy list unavailable window repetition

Bug Description

When AIM's buddy list in unavailable (or so Pidgin thinks) it will pop-up a new window everytime it tries to get the buddy list. The problem is it doesn't check to see if it has already created this window so something like the linked image occurs:

I think this will go on forever but I ran out of available (physical) memory so I had to close pidgin.

Confirming, low importance since it's mostly just an annoying cosmetic thing

@Mackenzie Morgan: i don't think popping up 50 windows is merely a cosmetic problem :-)

Additional windows will pop-up forever until either (a) the available memory goes to 0 or (b) until AIMs buddy list is available. Seems to occur at about 20 second intervals.

This is milestoned for pidgin 2.6.0. Can we get this fix backported to 2.5.5?

I believe it is commit e1b1e80d999e393a80f201a484ef61289c258fbe in Pidgin's versioning control system which is Monotone.
