Bug Description

Binary package hint: kile

Kile in Ubuntu 9.04 has a bug that makes it fail to insert one single Chinese character like "的","你" or "," and it makes Kile actually no use in Chinese. This bug has been fixed in r940069 but Ubuntu 9.04 using r933829.

Can we fix this in Ubuntu 9.04?

@Wesley
Just uploaded a new version of Kile for jaunty/9.04 to my PPA. Please test that the input works as expected there and report back: https://launchpad.net/~andreas-wenning/+archive/ppa
