Accepted gnome-applets into jaunty-proposed-proposed; please test and give feedback here. Please see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to enable and use -proposed. Thank you in advance!

Tested first with gnome-applets 2.26.0-0ubuntu4, and confirmed the crash still occurred.

Upgraded to gnome-applets 2.26.1-0ubuntu1 from jaunty-proposed, reloaded the applet, and choosing "Play DVD" correctly opened totem and started playing my DVD.

I'm not having this problem anymore in a up-to-date AMD64 Jaunty system. Seems fixed to me.

Hello. I'm having a crash when I try to mount a digital camera using Disk Mounter. 32bit Jaunty, up to date. It more resembles the description in bug #300938, but that was listed as a duplicate of this bug. Same error message, though:

"Disk Mounter" has quit unexpectedly
If you reload a panel object, it will automatically be added back to the panel.

I also sometimes get multiple camera icons on the panel; as many as 5. I'm just an ordinary user, but if anyone could point me to a tutorial or tell me how to get all the info you would need, I'd be happy to supply it. This bug is infinitely repeatable, and a Google search tells me I'm not alone with the Disk Mounter / digital camera problem.
Thank you.
