the codification is wrong, i can't see some characters in the spell check

Bug Description
when i type some spanish language characters, i see ok!, but, when i want check my words with the spell check, the spell check change my correct characters with a not recognized characters.
my environment is:
LANG="es_AR.UTF-8"
LANGUAGE=
