Bug Description

I'm using Do from testers PPA (0.8 Alpha 3) in Intrepid and when using it with two monitors, passing the mouse over the icons give me very bad and flickering performance.

This is all actuality a general optimization request. When multiple screens your GPU is pushed harder and thus docky is slower.

I have a similar experience:

If I start Do when two outputs are in use, I experience Docky as very lagging and hardly usable. When Do is started, while only one output is enabled, there is no lagging. But, and that comes at a surprise, when I now enable the second output there is no difference in speed in contrast to only one output.

Can others confirm this behaviour?

My config:

Laptop running on Intrepid
Gnome-do 0.8.0 from the PPA
Intel GM945 graphics chipset
Cloned screen, VGA 1280x1024 and LVDS 1280x800

Cannot confirm here. Docky runs smooth as butter.

GNOME Do 0.8 from trunk
ATI x200m with free drivers
VGA 1280x1024, LVDS 1280x800
