Seems to disable paste-url and backspace shortcuts

Bug Description

The useful ability to paste a url with the middle button in the firefox window is unilaterally disabled, as is the backspace-is-back shortcut. Is it possible to get the useful behaviour of this short-cut without heavy handed trampling of usual firefox behavior? Perhaps give the extension a preferences window to get these useful features back?

As is I'll obviously just disable the ubuntu extension but it seems like a shame to have to do this.

Thanks!

Joe

Backspace-is-back is not related to Ubuntu extension, see e.g. http://ubuntu.wordpress.com/2006/12/21/fix-firefox-backspace-to-take-you-to-the-previous-page/

Pasting with middle button seems to work, do you still have this problem?

paste-url feature is disabled intentionally; ubuntu does that since I can remember. it was done because users perceived this as odd behaviour on middle mouse click

Surely thats "some users" perceived it as odd behaviour. Probably not those use to using X because being able to use the standard paste shortcut in this was was quite intuitive.

Maybe having it disabled by default is fine, but having no preferences for this add on and no way of turning off it's individual changes seems un-necessarily heavy handed.

As it is I'll just carry on removing the ubuntu modifications, but it seems like a shame that that is my only recourse.
