Bug Description

Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex 8.10 - 64 bits
Rev. 20394
Copying and pasting seems to have no effect. The same goes for cut and paste.
I've tried a clean build and removed the preferences and custom templates just to check, but it still doesn't work.
I can't even copy and paste a single rectangle.
The strange thing is I can paste a bitmap copied from gimp, but I can't copy and paste any vector object created in inkscape.

The problem started in some point between rev 20348 and 20378. 20338 worked fine iirc.

Just figured out what was it. The problem was caused by the latest version of Parcellite, a clipboard manager.
I wonder if it's possible that the way that inkscape manages the data in the clipboard has something to do or it's just a bug in Parcellite.

Just uninstalled parcellite and installed a newer version and it seems to work. Closing this as invalid.

Changed in inkscape:
status: New → Invalid

I can easily copy/paste paths from Inkscape to GIMP with latest trunk. Go figure :-)

I read the GIMP mailing list too ;-)
I get a crash when I drag and drop the path from gimp to inkscape. Do you have that problem too?
