Bug Description

Binary package hint: xorg-driver-fglrx

My problem seems to be related with bug #269357, but I think it's a different problem because there are some differences:

∙ I'm using the fglrx driver instead of the radeon driver.
∙ Video playback doesn't fail, I can watch video's with Totem, but every quarter of a second or so the video's content flashes/flickers to a black, partially white solid color. This makes watching video's a serious pain.
∙ This doesn't happen when I disable Compiz in the Appearence Preferences. But it's quite annoying to constantly disable Compiz and enable it later when I want to watch a video file.

Hi svloon,

Please attach the output of `lspci -vvnn`, and attach your /var/log/Xorg.0.log file from after reproducing this issue. If you've made any customizations to your /etc/X11/xorg.conf please attach that as well.
