Bug Description

Binary package hint: gparted

Hi, when I try to install Ubuntu 8.10 beta (AMD64), my computer hanging in installation partitioning step; when it says "start partitioning", it doesn't go more to 53% of initial analisis.
Here, a list of HW that I think that is wrapped in the problem:
 - Motherboard = Asus P5Q its S-ATA II controller --> ICH10 Family 2 Serial ATA Storage Controller 2 - 3A26 and ICH10 Family 4 Serial ATA Storage Controller 1 - 3A20
 - HD S-ATA II SEAGATE 32 MB 7200 RPM

Running Ubuntu 8.10 Beta in Live version (without installation) there is no problem, and it detect all partitions in my HD; but I can't install it, allways hang off my computer in the same step.

Thanks
Marga
