Unspecified domain prevents guest static interface from coming up

Bug Description

If you specify a static IP, without specifying a domain and no domain has been set for the host then the default interface.tmpl for ubuntu will generate an invalid interface config. This in turn will prevent the guest interface from coming up on boot.

Could a warning be given that the domain hasn't been found?
