Automatic updates removed

Bug Description

In dapper, the option for automatic updates has been removed.

This existed in breezy.

It would be nice with an explanation on why it was removed.

Do you mena unattend installation of updates or automatic checking for updates?

I mean the option "Download upgradable packages" (I'm in Hoary now).

Update Manager->Preferences->Settings: Internet Updates.

Thanks, this is fixed in the current dapper source tree and will be part of the next upload.

Marking this Fix Released since the latest version of Update Manager on my Dapper installation has a "Download Upgradeable Packages in the Background" option that can be enabled.
