[flight 2] after reopening laptop lid, screen is not turned on

Bug Description
On a fresh install of Flight 2 on my Dell Latitude 110l, after closing the lid,
and then reopening it, the screen doesn't turn itself back on again. I have to
switch to one of the virtual terminal (ctrl-alt-f1) then back to ctrl-alt-f7 to
get my display back. This is a regression from earlier versions of Dapper.

It now works. After manually switching my xorg.conf from vesa to i810 (caused
by bug #27180), this problem occuring after re-opening the lid went away.
