Binary package hint: system-cleaner
Running 'system-cleaner find' it lists (among some other things):
removable relatime:/

It is probably a bad idea to at list / as removable :-)
As /var/cache/openafs is not a standard Ubuntu partition it might be correct to list that as removable.

system-cleaner is being unclear here: the "cruft" is that / (and /var/cache/openafs) aren't mounted with the relatime mount option. It wants to add that option to fstab, not remove the entire filesystems.
I will have to find a better way to express that in the user interface. Thanks for pointing this out.
