Binary package hint: launchpad-integration

Intrepid, up-to-date.

Click on Help/Report a Bug (on programmes that sport launchpad-integration results in no visible action, with the following messages being printed on the console:

Usage: apport-gtk [options]

apport-gtk: error: no such option: --package synaptic --pid <pid>

I actually found it while testing this morning a patch for Evolution to take out Bug-Buddy. I followed with a chat with Pedro, to confirm I had not messed up my system.

I will go out on a limb, and mark this bug critical.

thank you for your bug report, that seems an apport interface change, anyway the importance is not correct, read the settings description on the wiki, this one is low importance but should be milestoned so it's considered for intrepid

For the record, apport did not *mean* to change the interface, it might be a regression from the recent changes in ubuntu-bug for simpler calling. Will look into this ASAP.

This bug was fixed in the package apport - 0.116

apport (0.116) intrepid; urgency=low

  * Update AUTHORS and debian/copyright, Michael and Troy released their
    copyright to Canonical. Properly attribute them as authors in the
    respective files.
  * debian/local/ubuntu-bug: Fix quoting of the command line arguments, so
    that several options do not end up as one big argument when being passed
    to apport-{cli,gtk,qt}. This also repairs launchpad-integration.
