Bug Description

Binary package hint: casper

I followed the instructions at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LiveUsbPendrivePersistent to setup Hardy on a USB drive, setting up a loopback file for casper-rw and formatting the partition as fat32. When I tried adding a home-rw loopback file on the same partition, casper would not mount it on boot. If casper-rw and home-rw are on separate partitions, then home-rw is mounted successfully.

Hi, I wondered if bug #346941 might be the cause of your problem - Colin Watson's uploaded a fix, so I guess you should be able to test with the RC when it comes out ..

Hi Steve, I've repeated the instructions with Jaunty and it appears to be working. Thanks for investigating the problem so thoroughly.
