Bug Description

The awn affinity search applet is buggy.

1) the "Manage Software" link is not working for me
2) the "Recent Documents" list is not updated in my version
3) the search line freezes sometimes, i.e. cannot enter anything into it

My awn is 0.3.1.

Invalid for Ubuntu Intrepid, the affinity is not include in the package.

No. The original developer, njpatel, is also working on a) his paid work and b) the Awn rewrite, so Affinity isn't being maintained at the moment.

I haven't used affinity recently. Maybe we can close the bug unless somebody else still has problems with affinity.

About these issues:
1) I think the command to run is not the Ubuntu one by default. Maybe I can set some options in autogen/configure that would set the default commands and would probably default to Ubuntu.
2) I know that this one has been fixed. It was simply in reverse order :)
3) Uhh, I'm not sure about this. I think the window might have focus issues occasionally, though it may have been fixed. I'll look into it.

As for 3), I was running affinity only as an AWN applet. So 3) could have happened because of some issues regarding the symbiosis AWN/affinity.

#1 has been fixed in r179 by defaulting to Ubuntu
I cannot reproduce #3, either as an Awn applet or separately. It was probably fixed sometime, but if it happens for anyone, just leave a comment, as I am marking this as 'Fix Committed.'
