Binary package hint: hal-info

According to the recently approved general SRU exception for hal-info [1] I would like to update hardy's hal-info to a newer snapshot for better hardware/suspend/music player support.

complete debdiff. This has a lot of noise due to the upstream inclusion of most of our patches, and large changelog.

Hi,

Kubuntu 8.04.1 here. Update from the repository "proposed" doesn't install... (Could broke some dependencies).

Is this package depending on other dependencies updates, still not spreaded on the servers ?

Oedipe: no, hal-info does not depend on *any* package at all. But of course there could be other uninstallable packages in hardy-proposed. What's the exact error message?

7 days have passed without regression reports, and this was tested by the Canonical Hardy team, so I consider this sufficiently verified now, according to SRU policy exception for hal-info.
