I installed the latest upgrade yesterday, it included an upgrade for Firefox. Now when I type an address in Firefox or google I get this message. I have been running Hardy for several weeks and not had this problem.

Dear Searunner, it seems your bug report is a duplicate of bug #212465.
Try restarting Firefox and tell us if everything is ok.
Advice:
1) Remember to restart any programs that have been updated.
2) Search launchpad before reporting a new bug, in order to make sure it hasn't been reported by someone else already. If it has, you might find the solution there...
