Bogofilter hangs

Bug Description

Using KMail on Kubuntu, piping any message through bogofilter hangs bogofilter,
which in turn hangs KMail until I kill bogofilter. This happens both when
receiving new mail and when manually classifying mail as spam.
This started happening when I upgraded to the newly-released Breezy on AMD64.

I suspect this is AMD64-specific, but I don't have an x86 install to check it.
Probably not Kubuntu-specific, but again I can't check.

What happens when you run bogofilter by hand? How about under strace?

I have fixed this problem by removing my .bogofilter directory, so it appears to
have been caused by a corrupt spam DB.

I had a problem with bogofilter in Hoary (bug #18806) where it was segfaulting
all the time - I guess the segfaulting caused some corruption of the DB thus
causing this bug.
I attempted to recover the database using bogoutil, but it hangs also.

I would have thought that bogofilter would have been able to cope with having a
broken DB though... I still have my original .bogofilter if you want me to do
any further testing/debugging, but I guess it isn't worth it unless other people
have the same issue after upgrading to Breezy.
