Please consider using python distutils to simplify the way to install entertainer.

I have definitely considered using distutils. However, our big focus currently is just getting a release. :) After that, we'll probably get the release in as a PPA, and distutils can probably be expected in a 0.2 release

Having just started some research on packaging, I've come to realize that using distutils is a core component to having a good python source package. Since I've marked the need for packaging fixes as critical (Bug 240531), this bug will play an important role in creating a proper package.

Trying to figure how to add a setup.py in our current environment and what might need to move around in order to accomodate that.

Paul has picked up this effort. Paul, I don't know if this will help, but the bazaar source code setup.py seemed to have a good function that would find packages, rather than having to list them explicitly.
