Version: 1.7.0-1

Hello,

We did a big refactoring in our code while doing the development of
1.7.0 version and I think that this bug was solve together of
it. Please reopen it if it's still reproducible.

Thanks,

In an installation using:
Package: libparted1.7-udeb
Version: 1.7.1-2

I still see the same warnings in the syslog.

Nice try, but no cigar ;-)

Is there any news on this issue? We are still seeing these warnings in the
installer and I have no idea how long the kernel maintainers are going to
keep backwards compatibility for this.

Note that this report is now over 1,5 years old!

Cheers,

This appears to have been fixed a very long time ago ( parted 1.7 ). The depreciated ioctl is only used as a fallback if sysfs isn't mounted.
