I am unable to reproduce on hardy beta x86_64, with ff3b4.

Aside from overuse of flash, site is fine.

Also unable to confirm on an up-to-date Hardy Beta with ff3b4, x86_32.

You guys should compare notes on extensions in use and system specs. This page displayed properly for me as well (Hardy x86_64 Beta, latest updates)

Firefox 3 crashes trying to display the page with no extensions at all (I just tried from a fresh install off the Hardy beta CD, with relevant upgrades applied). I haven't installed any Flash renderers like gnash or the Adobe one.

Firefox 2 (on Hardy) also crashes trying to display the page.

Opera (on Hardy) has no problem with the page.

Firefox 2 on Gutsy has no problem with the page.

What system specs might be useful to know? I'm using a 32-bit Dell Inspiron 8600 with ATI Radeon Mobility 9600 graphics card using the open-source ATI driver if that helps.

That might help indeed. I can't reproduce it under Hardy Live CD either (running in a virtual machine). It could indeed be a specific driver issue. But my machine uses the nvidia driver. And it appears under virtualbox to be using a generic vga driver.

DocHoliday52090, can you post your system specs?

I think we should merge this with my original bug post "Xbox.com crashes on Xbox Live's Friend List". Seems to be the same problem.

Extensions don't make a difference.

My specs:

Ubuntu Hardy Beta
Firefox 3 Beta 4
Compaq nc6220
Pentium M / 512 ram
Intel 915 chipset

Yes, it looks to be the same problem. The site works if I turn off auto-image loading in Firefox, and I'm using EXA.

most likely a extension related issue.
