Nautilus shows garbadged background image

Ubuntu 8.04 - Nautilus 2.22.2

Used one of the suplied image background. When switching from list view to Icon a corrupted background appears. This is consistent. When I change background to a color the problem goes away.

this seems to be fixed on trunk:

the way the changed signal is handled seems to have fixed the bug, not sure why but the change is not too complicated, doesn't seem to break anything and fix the issue

I can reproduce the problem with the current nautilus version. Will do the verification for the update.

verification done:

- test with gnome-desktop from hardy (1:2.22.2-0ubuntu1), followed the test case, after set up the background and change back to icon view from list view, the background is corrupted.
- test with gnome-desktop from proposed (1:2.22.2-0ubuntu2), followed the test case, after set up the background and changed back to the icon view from the list view, the background looks good no corruption on it, bug is fixed, thanks.

Then you should test it further!

-test with gnome desktop-data from hardy (1:2.22.2-ubuntu2), thing are the same, the background is still corrupted!
Nautilus is: 1:2.22.3-0ubuntu2

Did you restart your session after the upgrade? If you don't want to
do this, you can do Alt+F2 and "killall nautilus" to restart just
nautilus.

the change works correctly for me too

the update is creating an another issue, see bug #236778, I'm going to upload a new change to fix this one too

Vinux, please don't re open closed bugs without even add a comment to it, this was a gnome-desktop issue not a nautilus one. thanks.
