Bug Description
With the release of fixes for bug #1844422, support for WPA3-SAE was added to respectively Network-Manager and Gnome-Shell for Eoan.
What is missing is WPA3-SAE support for the NM-Applet, this matters for those that do not use Gnome as their desktop environment.

Currently, WPA3-SAE support for NM-Applet (which is at ver. 1.8.22-2ubuntu1) is non-existent.
This leads to problems when using the applet for connecting to Wi-Fi networks that have WPA3-enabled, even if WPA2 is also available for said network.
[Problem Description]:
When trying to connect to my AP's WLAN (which is set to WPA2/WPA3 mixed mode) using NM-Applet, the authentication dialog will popup, but the password field is missing, so connecting to the WLAN, using the applet is impossible.
(I've added a screenshot depicting the issue).
