Bug Description
Currently, if the gadget.yaml format gets some stanza additions, those will cause ubuntu-image to not be able to build the selected image at all. This is basically correct as we should always make sure we can only parse gadget.yaml's in a format that we support. But if there are wanted changes in the format, before users can actually start building images they need to wait for a new ubuntu-image release to happen.
Maybe we should add an option to ignore new fields?

We now use some snapd code to handle the gadget.yaml. So this problem is now more about keeping our dependency up-to-date with snapd. And I guess this is the job of the snapd lib to decide what to do with unknown/deprecated fields. I think we can close this bug.
