Specifically, Virtualbricks does not work with QEMU 2.8, the version in Debian 9.

Is this fixed in r931? I experienced this before on debian sid, but it seems solved on lp:virtualbrick.
qemu-x86_64 version 2.8.1(Debian 1:2.8+dfsg-7)
