Bug Description

Build fails on artful for ubuntu-cpc project:

Setting up vmdk-stream-converter (0.2-2) ...
+ streamconverter=/usr/share/pyshared/VMDKstream.py
++ mktemp -d

+ cp binary/boot/disk-uefi.ext4 /tmp/tmp.1Zq6GSh3oB/resize.img
+ truncate --size=10240M /tmp/tmp.1Zq6GSh3oB/resize.img
+ python /usr/share/pyshared/VMDKstream.py /tmp/tmp.1Zq6GSh3oB/resize.img livecd.ubuntu-cpc.vmdk
python: can't open file '/usr/share/pyshared/VMDKstream.py': [Errno 2] No such file or directory

vmdk-stream-converter (0.2-2) no longer ships code in pyshared

I have tested this with a build on the ubuntu-cpc project and it fixes the build break that is currently blocking artful cloud images.

Given that 2.448 was unreleased it would have been better to use 'dch -a' to modify the existing changelog entry and add your changes to it.

  * Depend on packages in main instead of installing them at runtime
  * Depend on vmdk-stream-converter instead of installing it at run time
  * Use xz -T4 -0 instead of pxz (LP: #1701132)
    Supported xz versions before 5.2 also accept the -T4 option but ignore
    it.
  * Depend on xz-utils instead of pxz
