Bug Description

2021 update - make this a removal

Please remove netcf from the Archive:
- It is rather unmaintained
- It has not reverse dependencies anymore
- It has open bugs like https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/netcf/+bug/1764314
- Was removed dfrom Debian for the same reasons https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=839082

Netcf should be able to handle netplan (src:nplan) instead of ifupdown on Debian:

Time has passed and I guess the decision was made by inactivity.
We really should remove this for 22.04.

The same happened in Debian:
- not maintained/integrated https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=898194
- finally removed https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=839082

Therefore I'm converting this into a RM bug for the AAs to consider.
