I could but, exchange rate will not work and this may introduce other issues,
adding to this:
- There is no official ISO currency code for Bitcoins, although XBT is commonly used
- Notice: Bitcoin is not legal tender in any country and is not recognized as an official currency by any regulatory authority. XE does not endorse nor express an opinion as to whether or not Bitcoin is an official or legitimate currency

+1 would like to see this added. Personally I dont mind if the exchange rate works or not, as I can simply set it manually.

If you are interested in doing the exchange rate, my suggestion would be to use https://bitcoinaverage.com/

Just to add one more thing, part of this request might want to also be to add 8 decimal point support since bitcoin and most other crypto-currencies use exactly 8 decimal points.

Not sure why you linked me there exactly. I was simply stating that most crypto-currencies bitcoin included use 8 decimal points.

  thank you for your effort and commitment developing this fantastic piece of software for managing home expenses. I started using it tentatively and after a few months I found it suits all my needs and now I'm using it on a daily basis.

I respect your decision of not implementing anything related to cryptocurrencies. Hopefully cryptocurrencies become mainstream soon so we can see changes in Homebank so we can track Bitcoins, Ethereum or Litecoin like any other currency.
