Cannot navigate away from device discovery

Bug Description
Checked on MAAS on my mobile (Pixel XL using chrome) and got stuck on the device discovery page.
If I click the navigation icon, it opens the navigation but it immediately closes again, so it is very hard to actually select a menu item.
If I manage to go to node details after a few tries, I have the same problem there.
