Bug Description

[Impact]

MAAS 1.9.5 is a new upstream bugfix release that includes various fixes that Ubuntu version of MAAS would benefit of. See the CHANGELOG for a complete list of bugs fixed.

[Test Case]
1. Install MAAS 1.9.4
2. Upgrade to MAAS 1.9.5
3. MAAS will continue to function as originally designed.

[Regression Potential]
Minimal. MAAS 1.9.5 has been CI'd and manually tested:

 - We perform new install package testing to ensure that the package is rock solid on fresh installations.
 - We perform upgrade testing from previous MAAS and Ubuntu Releases. At the moment we perform upgrade testing covering upgrades from MAAS 1.9. The upgrade ensures that MAAS after the upgrade is up and running with no issues.
 - We have performed CI testing to ensure there are no regressions.

Hello Andres, or anyone else affected,

Accepted maas into trusty-proposed. The package will build now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/maas/1.9.5+bzr4599-0ubuntu1~14.04.1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.

Please help us by testing this new package. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation on how to enable and use -proposed.Your feedback will aid us getting this update out to other Ubuntu users.

If this package fixes the bug for you, please add a comment to this bug, mentioning the version of the package you tested, and change the tag from verification-needed to verification-done. If it does not fix the bug for you, please add a comment stating that, and change the tag to verification-failed. In either case, details of your testing will help us make a better decision.

Further information regarding the verification process can be found at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/PerformingSRUVerification . Thank you in advance!

#VERIFICATION

Upgraded to proposed from 1.9.4+bzr4592-0ubuntu1~14.04.1, that was affected by LP#1657491 (several IPs assigned to the same iface in DB). Originally, the db contained free leases:

 id | hostname | id | name | mac_address | id | ip | alloc_type
----+----------+-----+------+-------------------+-----+---------------+------------
 19 | lopunny | 49 | eth0 | 3c:a8:2a:21:a9:50 | 110 | 10.230.20.22 | 1
 19 | lopunny | 49 | eth0 | 3c:a8:2a:21:a9:50 | 155 | | 6
 18 | metapod | 45 | eth2 | 94:57:a5:5c:fb:7c | 82 | 10.230.20.19 | 0
  2 | niagara | 5 | eth0 | 40:a8:f0:1e:3f:08 | 69 | 10.230.20.17 | 0
 21 | scarface | 80 | eth0 | 52:54:00:41:8f:4e | 135 | 10.230.20.24 | 6
 21 | scarface | 80 | eth0 | 52:54:00:41:8f:4e | 131 | 10.230.20.26 | 6
 21 | scarface | 80 | eth0 | 52:54:00:41:8f:4e | 155 | | 1

After the migration, those IPs disappeared, and the environment works perfectly after two days.
