Bug Description
The Ubuntu Error Tracker has been receiving reports about a problem regarding compiz. This problem was most recently seen with package version 1:0.9.13.

[Impact]
Unity shell crashes when changing options from ccsm.
[Test Case]
1. Open ccsm, then open options for unity
2. Try to change an options such as "Background Color"
3. Make sure the shell does not crash
[Regression Potential]
The shell does not respond to option changes
