Bug Description
hi. My external mic is just not working. Not only in skype, but globally.
i tried alsamixer, it's set on Mic1, micboost is on, mic capture is on but i can't raise or lower its volume level. nothing is muted.
i also installed kmix and tried to solve the problem, but nothing changed.
it's very unlikely that it is a mic problem. i just moved from suse 9.3 to ubuntu gutsy, and in suse the mic worked flawlessly.

please consider this bug closed and forgive me. i've found the problem and it had nothing to do with alsa (but with my mic. i know. i know what you're thinking. and you're right. :)
