Bug Description

Binary package hint: amarok

When trying to configure a device (in my case a Samsung YP T7F, but googling around revealed that this bug is not limited to this player) to play files other than mp3 and wma, the config window saves the format with a & symbol somewhere in the format name (e.g. &ogg or mp&g). As a result, Amarok always forgets the settings and is unable to transfer files other than the two formats above. Playing these files in Amarok functions fine.
The configuration can be patched manually by going into the ~/.kde/share/config/amarokrc file and changing all odd formats with the correct names (e.g. &ogg -> ogg). I am no programmer, but I think that somehow and somewhere the format names have been misspelled, so that the configuration window is no more able to write the correct format names to the config file - and in fact, transferring functions without any problems after correcting that file manually.
Hope this can get fixed soon, I have just one device and already configured, but this could be a serious annoyance to many people who use amarok daily :)
Last note: I believe the bug was inserted with today's updates; but the bug has been reported already some days ago at this url: http://www.nabble.com/-Bug-151806--New:-OGG-can't-be-selected-for-direct-transfer-in-audio-device-configuration-(first-appeared-as--ogg-but-can't-be-saved)-t4742754.html

Thanks for the attention.
