Bug Description

no notification when calendar event occurs

calendar app version 0.5.858 (Bq4.5 / M10 Tablet with OTA-12)

First start calender app and create new schedule
(important create a new one no re-edit an old schedule)

What will happen? No notification-alerts when the schedule occurs

Workaround: Open the new created schedule again go in edit mode
and close it with click 'ok-icon'

Result: calendar event occurs and alerts dito

I use no google-calender sync, syncevolution or similar

the exact same bug occurs on my Bq4.5, too, with OTA-12 and Canlendar app version 0.5.865. The workaround described above works for me as well.

This bug was introduced with OTA-12. It worked as expected before.

The same bug occurs to me on Meizu MX4 Ubuntu Edition 15.04 (OTA-12).

I also use Calendar 0.5.865.

Also there is no sound notification, only vibration.

It looks like invalid ical is being generated, so this is somewhere in calendar-app or qt5organizer-eds: New events' vevent entries specify a 'display' action, but are missing the description property to specify what to display
