Bug Description

* Impact
the messaging menu strings about evolution have missing outdated/missing translations

* Test case
install evolution-indicator and check that the indicator-messages string to e.g compose a new message is translated

* Regression potential
the translations are already missing so none

I've just upgraded Ubuntu and noticed that Evolution Indicator (under the Email symbol in the top right corner next to the time) is showing outdated translations for Scottish Gaelic (gd).

Translated and reviewed by GunChleoc on 2013-09-14
but it's still showing

There may be others but I haven't checked. Is it possible that there is something broken about the way this module pulls its translations?

Indeed, that's because it was moved to universe and languagepack don't ship updated translations for it since

If there is something remaining in the default UI which uses evolution-indicator strings though, they should be updated, no?

Accepted evolution-indicator into xenial-proposed. The package will build now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution-indicator/0.2.20-0ubuntu23 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.

I'm in -prosposed and just installed all the updates but the translation has not been updated (see screenshot)

@Akerbeltz, that's because it needs to be combined with a langpack update, it should work fine if you install https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/language-pack-gnome-gd-base/1:16.04+20160627/+build/10181899
