http://paste.ubuntu.com/15681680/ should fix this (I haven't tested it as part of a gccgo-6 package build, but I have tested it by patching the go tool from the 1.6 release). I was a bit worried about this breaking juju as juju has had problems in this area before, but it turns out that the problem *already* breaks juju and the patch makes things better.
