fails to boot on megaraid

attached the dmesg output of booting the same machine with the working 4.2 kernel

Julian - this patch came from Broadcom without provenance. Feel free to test it, but I won't apply it to the Ubuntu kernel until I get some Signed-off-by signatures.

I have applied the patch and it is booting again. Attached the dmesg of the 4.4 boot.

Sumit at Broadcom has posted the latest version of this patch to upstream.
