Bug Description

This is a request for a Feature Freeze Exception for uploading docker.io into Xenial Universe.

The version we currently have in Xenial is very old and out of date (1.6.2). It's taken us a bit longer to get Docker up and packaged for Xenial for all architectures than we expected. However, we're just about done with it now.

We'd like to upload here this week.

We have test packages now in: ppa:docker/experimental.

Seems mostly fine as it does not have many rdepends, and for an LTS we should rather get a current version. Has this been tested against its reverse dependencies (docker-compose, debocker, docker-registry, golang-github-samalba-dockerclient-dev)? do these need updates as well?

This bug was fixed in the package docker.io - 1.10.2-0ubuntu3

  * debian/control:
    - drop the any- prefix on build arches; seems that any-armhf isn't
      defined, so armhf builds did not trigger
