Transmission 2.84 was released on 2014/07/01. I think it deserves an update for the LTS to keep track of the new fixes.

My version of Transmission is 2.92 (14714) and I don't have any PPA installed. So maybe this bug should be marked as closed, maybe somebody else can confirm this before closing the bug
