Bug Description

Kubuntu update tool exiting, when too less free space. Why do not add button "Retry". I can free some space and press it.
It's terrible, when I see progress 99%, and fetching file 40/50 ..... fetching file 54/60 fetching file 60/72.
Why you showing fake progress?
Why you not using apt-get for download files. Every time when update tool chashed, I need to wait while it's will download files again.
I runned update tool and wented away from computer, with hope it's will finish when I will come to work at morning, but at morning there was just message "Disabling non free repositoryes", that stopped process

Thanks for your suggestion with the retry button, I think that is a good and useful addition

I realize it's unpolite to nag, but I've been wondering what happened to the "retry" button idea on the disk space error dialog.

Why, yes, I had to restart the upgrade process from the very beginning after freeing up some disk space today, how'd you guess? :-)

Unfortunately this will not make it for jaunty (UI and string freeze). I milestoned it "later" now.

I'm quite disappointed to see this bug having "Wishlist" importance and still not fixed in Karmic. Having to wait for the preparation process for about 10 minutes, and another 5 minutes (plus 10 minutes to start the process again) to undo the changes after "no free disk space" error is not very user friendly.
