Wrong locale used for .desktop files

Bug Description
I have my locale set to en_US.UTF-8 but entries in my menu use the en_GB locale
for displaying info about the entry. If I have Comment[en_US] and Comment[en_GB]
the en_GB version is used. I will attach an example entry that shows the problem.

The menu should be using Comment[en_US] and show "test app US" but it shows
"test app GB".
